When Stress Takes Over Your Life

There are different kinds of stress: physical, mental and emotional.

Physical stress can be the result of illness, accidents, lack of sleep and overworking the body physically with exercise. Medical practitioners and/or natural therapists can help with this type of stress.

Mental stress can be the result of concentrating for long periods of time due to study, working too long at a computer or sitting in meetings or seminars too long. This type of stress is easily rectified by getting plenty of quality rest and using the techniques offered on this website.

Emotional stress is the result of focusing on what we don't want more than on what we do want. This is the kind of stress I specialise in with my coaching sessions, helping my clients make positive changes in their life by changing their thinking, which then changes their feeling state and creates more energy to take positive action.

Importantly more serious forms of mental and emotional stress are best treated by a mental health professional. Seek medical advice from your doctor as soon as possible if you are in any doubt that you or someone you know needs this kind of help.
