Self Expression to Relieve Stress
Self expression is so important to our psychological health. Whether you express yourself verbally or non-verbally is a matter of preference but being able to share with someone how you feel and to receive the gift of being listened to is not to be under-estimated. Verbal self expression in the form of talking with friends or family, or in more structured forms such as counselling, psychotherapy or working with a coach or mentor can be very supportive. In our experience coaching or mentoring from someone who's been where you are is invaluable.
